I love the process of hunting for boards,i find them in old cupboards and wardrobes at garage sales and tip shops and i buy new timber from sawmills. 
I look for the beauty in the timber sometimes unseen hidden under paint or stain and aged into greyness  . 
 Then i love dismantling ,denailing and visiting my local men's shed where i plane ,thickness  and upcycle, 
Then i thank modern technology especially the CNC router which embellishes the dressed timber with beauty in carving the labyrinth. 
I love that it transforms into a mindfulness tool, a transformational super highway, 
as well as a beautiful object.”
